The team was lucky enough to be featured by an ASU Cronkite School of Journalism & Mass Communication student for his JMC 345 broadcast class. Thanks to Collin Flemming for putting together this great package of DDT!

Downtown Devil Coverage of TP So You Think You Can Dance
On December 6, 2010, Downtown Dance Team held a winter dance concert at Taylor Place residential community. Titled TP So You Think You Can Dance, the team invited ASU students to come out and strut their best dance moves. DDT performed dances, too. Audience members were invited to make holiday crafts, enjoy Christmas treats and hot cocoa during the performances.
We were lucky enough to have the Downtown Devil cover the event and create an awesome slideshow to showcase highlights of the evening. Here's the story, Downtown Dance Team hosts holiday event.

Barrett Benefit for the Hungry
DDT loved helping out Barrett support a great cause. In addition to performances, there was a delicious ice cream bar, rock wall and trampoline!

ASU Sparky Dance Challenge
DDT submitted out submission to the Sparky Dance Challenge for our chance to perform at an ASU men's basketball game in January. The dance had to be to the song "The Devil in Me," by Shakra and had to incorporate the official Sparky dance during the chorus.
Here's our dance! Keep your fingers crossed that we WIN!

FestDevil @ASUDowntown
Our team represented DDT at the downtown campus homecoming event, FestDevil on Friday. Taylor Street was blocked off to make way for the biggest tabling event of the school year! We gave out over 150 free DDT shirts, showed off some dance moves and had a bake sale with pastries donated from Starbucks, Tammie Coe and Fair Trade Cafe to earn money for new uniforms.
We had a great time chatting with the other clubs and organizations that were there!
Here's a sneak peak of the photos from the event, for the whole album, see our Facebook fan page.

Flash Mob at the Downtown Campus
The Associated Students of Arizona State University Downtown asked for our help to choreograph a flash mob. ASASUD does a lot of voter outreach to encourage students to vote, and thought doing a flash mob at the Homecoming Week pep rally would be a great way to get everyone's attention.
Our very own Ariana Johnson choreographed the dance and DDT performed alongside ASASUD members. At 11:45am on Taylor Mall, we broke out into our dance--it was great! The Downtown Devil covered the event in their article Flash Mob Encourages Students to Vote.
